Udensi was reacting to some photographs of Ikpeazu and his Rivers State counterpart, Nyesom Wike, enjoying a holiday in Turkey.
The security expert said it was disappointing to see Ikpeazu abandon Abia health workers in the state, who are owed a backlog of salaries, for a holiday in an overseas country with a functional health system.
He said, “Medical doctors and workers are being owed 25 months salary arrears and the Nigerian Medical Association has directed their members in Abia to proceed on a strike and the governor is happily cruising on a holiday overseas.
“Medical doctors in our teaching hospitals are also owed 25 months salaries. Their counterparts in the health management board are being owed about 11 months.
“Our governor is in Turkey with the Rivers Governor, Wike, enjoying a holiday and I saw the way they were holding hands in the park enjoying themselves.
“We must criminalize these acts. I’m frustrated. I feel sick inside me. I feel like jumping inside the gutter.
“That we have a government who owe essential workers like medical doctors; those whose job it is to save lives, those whose job it is to make sure we do not die, those whose job it is to give us medications, and prescribe all kinds of medications for us.
“They’re owed 25 months of salary and our governor is on holiday in a park.”
He maintained that legitimate people must be allowed to govern Abia, adding that the acts of ignorance displayed by Ikpeazu must be criminalised.
Udensi posited that the governor does not have conscience by his attitude towards workers in spite of his level of qualifications, while urging the youths to get their Permanent Voters Card in order to change the narrative.
He further expressed disappointment at the youths hailing the governor for making about 75 citizens of Arochukwu L.G.A Special Assistance in his government.
Udensi also accused the State Government of carrying out activities targeted at creating problems in the state chapter of APGA to stop him from becoming the next governor of the state through a document claiming that some payment was made to him.
He maintained that he’ll change the trajectory if he becomes the governor of the state, , adding that he is seeking for such office not to be vindictive to anybody but to ensure a turn around on the problems bedeviling Abia.
