he Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has been in the news in the past few weeks over issues with his primary and secondary certificates.
There had been calls from different angles to investigate Tinubu over his certificate controversy, but the presidential candidate remains unshaken as he continues his campaign.
The document submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) shows that the former Governor of Lagos State did not submit his primary and secondary certificates to the electoral body.
Tinubu in an affidavit submitted to INEC claimed that the certificates were stolen by unknown people during the military era while he was in exile.
The presidential candidate, however, noted that he obtained a degree in business and administration in 1979 at the Chicago State University.
A photobook of the Chicago State University has emerged online showing Tinubu as one of the students.
However, there was an error in the name of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress as his name was spelt ‘Thubv’ instead of ‘Tinubu’.
The former Governor had his other name, Bola and his initial ‘A’ which stands for Ahmed stated correctly in the photobook spotted online.
