The late Secretary-General of the Organisation Of Petroleum Exporting Countries, Muhammad Barkindo, has been buried in his hometown, Yola, Adamawa State.
Barkindo died late Tuesday, hours after meeting the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), who described him as a worthy ambassador of the country.
The final prayers for him held at the Yola Central mosque.
