The Teachers Naija Reality TV Show has said it is set to celebrate teachers with a one-month reality show and prizes worth N25m.
Speaking on Thursday at the media briefing of season three of the show, the convener of Teachers Naija Reality TV Show, Enuagwuna Ubaka, said the 30-day reality show would hold from September 24 and October 23, 2022, adding that participants must be Nigerians between the age of 21 and 45 and must be actively teaching in a school and registered with Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.
He said, ‘‘We are officially unveiling season three of the show which is tagged ‘The smart teacher’. Season three promises to be more educative, and entertaining. We are also thanking Mr Ayo Makun popularly known as AY for accepting to be the face of the Season Three Show. We hope that with his presence and influence on the Show, the profession will begin to attract more attention from stakeholders and the government.’’
Representative of Africa Union, Mr Kehinde Quadri-adu explained that the show should be supported, saying whatever anyone could do to make teachers’ lives better should be done.
President, National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies, Mrs Susan Akporiaye, said there was a need to celebrate teachers for their efforts in shaping destinies.
Lagos State Coordinator, TRCN, Princess Adaobi Ekwuno, said, “teaching profession needs to be sanitised, TRCN is in support of this award which is targeted at registered teachers and it should be promoted and encouraged.’’
Official host, Teachers’ Naija, and actor, Babaseun Faseru, said, ‘‘Season three will be big, the show allows for personal development of teachers.’’
