Popular Nigerian singers, Harrysong and Peter of the defunct P-Square have reacted to the alleged attack on Ruggedman by hoodlums in London.
DAILY POST had reported that Ruggedman was attacked on Friday night by hoodlums at an undisclosed restaurant in London, UK.
According to a video posted on his official Twitter page, the hoodlums were seen slamming the restaurant’s furniture on the singer’s body.
Speaking on the incident, Ruggedman stated that the attack will not stop him from fighting for the youth.
He tweeted, “Being attacked by 4 misguided boys will not deter me from fighting for the youths, even though they blindly fight me.”
The singer’s attack follows threat messages he received after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) announced that rising artistes, Naira Marley, real name Afeez Fashola who was arrested for internet fraud will be arraigned in court.
Reacting to the rapper’s attack, Peter commenting on the video on his Instagram page condemned the incident.
He wrote: “I got you Ruggedy, solidly behind you and with you. We have to do better to sanitize our system
Also, Harrysong condemning the attack on Ruggedman wrote: “I stood for Naira Marley, I pleaded his release and I refuse to believe this has to do with Marley saga because if it is what it’s really about, then there’s a lot of explanation to do from Naira Marley’s camp.
“Ruggedman does not deserve to be treated this way.”
Meanwhile, Naira Marley was on Friday released from prison custody after perfecting his bail condition.
