The rich in the fullness of his foolishness may not admit it. Men with power and authority may not accept it. Billions of humans He created by His hands will not acknowledge it. But there is God who rules in the affairs of humanity. In the beginning, He was. From everlasting to everlasting, He is. How do we test that there is God? Can we put Him in a laboratory to prove His existence? There is God! Awakened eyes have seen Him. In the created works of His hands, daily we experience Him.
How dare anyone doubt that the One seated on a throne, high and exalted does not exist? The train of his robe fills the temple. Around Him are seraphs, each with six wings. With two wings they cover their faces. With two they cover their feet. And with two they fly. There is God, awakened eyes have seen Him. In the created works of His hands, daily we experience Him.
Planet Earth is a part of what is called the Milky Way Galaxy. It is a galaxy grouping of four hundred billion stars in the Milky Way. Stars spread over the skies make up just a galaxy out of billions of galaxies in the Milky Way. Once in history, an astronomer saw a GAMA ray burst that came way beyond billions of galaxies that came nine billion light-years away. How many human years in a light year? 37,200. One light-year measures 6 trillion miles. If you think these are complicated facts, you’re right. In the complication of all of these rests His Divinity.
The speed of light in a vacuum is 186,282 miles per second (299,792 kilometres per second). In theory, nothing can travel faster than light. If humans could travel at the speed of light, it would take us at least 100,000 light-years to travel from one side of the Milky Way to the other. The Milky Way is only one of at least another 100 billion galaxies, many which are even larger than the Milky Way. In other words, multiply 400 billion stars times 100 billion. In miles per hour, light speed is about 670,616,629 mph. If man could travel at the speed of light, he could go around the Earth 7.5 times in one second. But no man can. Are you confused by all of these numbers? If you are, you are not alone. It is the mystery of the One who sits in His majesty. He sets not to confuse you; he wants you to acknowledge that He can do all things; and that He is God, and there’s none beside Him.
A recent family cruise around the Caribbeans took me down the expansive waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The vast waters are responsible for 54% of US oil and 47% natural gas production. The marginal sea of the Atlantic Ocean bordered by five American states on the northern and the eastern border, five Mexican states on its western and southern border, and Cuba to the South-East. The 617,000 square miles pathway for plenteous cruise ships brought me mano a mano with the ruler of the universe. I saw God in His majesty on the swirling and swivelling blue waters with the blue-black sky suspended above it and held steady by invisible pillars built by the carpenters of Heaven. The sky spreads wide into an indeterminable point that never terminates. Upon this expanse; God of Heaven rides on the wings of the boisterously-blowing wind He created for His glory.
The majesty of the One, whose fingers and wondrous hands fashioned all things into existence again is established. The gulf between man and the creator of all things is boundless and measureless. There is God, my friend. I have seen and experienced Him. I am jostled back to the early hours of creation when the earth was formless and darkness covered the deep waters. And the roving and hovering Spirt of God separated waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth with words from the mouth of God. The separating phenomenon He called the sky.
God knows how many stars there are and He calls them all by name. He holds the ocean on His hands and measured off the heavens with His fingers. He knows the weight of the earth and weighs the mountains and hills on a scale. All the nations of the earth are but a drop in the bucket. Nations that acknowledge not God are bound to come to ruins. Men who claim to be God will eventually find out that they are not GOD who made men. There is God, my friend, and through the created works of His hands, I’ve seen and experienced Him.
The one, who made a rejected stone the head of the corner of the house. He makes the man or woman branded the least to ride to the top of the list. A man who has been written off eventually rides on the back of a beautiful horse into prominence and fame. Vanishing hope and help He has restored unto failing men. Many times, we have seen many things, heard many stories, shared many testimonies, and rejoiced with many that rejoiced because of God’s wondrous works wreaked through men.
Our God is Father of surprise and wonder. Unpredictable. Incomprehensible. Unquestionable. When you think He is coming from the East, He comes from the West. When you have your sight set on North he comes from the South. When you think you are all alone in the fiery furnace of life, He shows up affirming His omnipresence. From the fiery furnace of affliction, He brings out a people and a nation. His omnipotence establishes the fact that power to set free and set loose belongs to Him and Him alone. God knows everything because He alone knows what no man knows. He knows what angels do not know. He knows what doctors don’t know. He knows what you don’t know.
The supplier of every human need. He supplies the need of the black man, white man, the need of the needy, hopeless, helpless, sinner, saints, all kinds of need. He is God all by Himself. What can He not do? When He attempts to remind us that we are mere men with big bragging mouth, He does so in a message blasted out in a grand style humbling the proud. If you’ve gone so far with Him, gone very deep in Him, heard so often clearly from Him, not now, not anytime, not in your life will you begin to ask if God exists. There is God. I have seen Him. In the created works of His hands, I have experienced Him. What about you?
