Many passengers were stranded on Friday following the collapse of a road that links Bauchi-Burra road in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Residents said that the collapse of the road was a result of a downpour that occurred from Thursday night to the early hours of Friday.
In a terse message sent to our Correspondent, a resident, Abdul Burra, said they have been locked out of the rest of the state.
“Ningi-Burra road collapses. Passengers stranded. We are locked out of Bauchi State.
“It has never been this dark. May Allah see us through,” Burra said.
