Shehu Sani, immediate past Kaduna West Senator, has charged the Super Eagles to victory in the ongoing African Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Egypt.
Super Eagles will today play the Group B opener against Burundi at 4pm West African time at the Alexandria stadium in Egypt.
DAILY POST had reported that Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, had admitted the morale of his team will drop, if they lose their Africa Cup of Nations opening fixture against Burundi.
Rohr, addressing the media on Friday, said a win against the debutants will boost confidence in his squad.
The three-time African champions will take on the Central African nation for the first time in an international outing, in their Group B opener at the Alexandria Stadium on Saturday.
However, Sani in a post on his Facebook page wrote: “#Afcon2019 wishing our Super Eagles victory all through.”
