Asake, who recently rose to prominence following the release of his hit track “Omo Ope” featuring YBNL boss, Olamide, while speaking in a recent interview, said people now treat him better.
According to Asake, who noted that before his rise to stardom, it was easy to tell how people really felt about him, his newfound fame has made it difficult to discern those who genuinely love him from those who are feigning affection for him.
He added that everyone now appears to love and hype him regardless of what he does.
He, however, noted that it is a sweet feeling to be loved and celebrated by everyone.
“I don’t know the difference between eye service and people that are not doing eye service. Now everyone loves me, before I can tell…but now everyone just love me. I no know person wey no love me. I no know anything again”. He said in part.

A while ago, a Nigerian lady took to Twitter to express regret years after she turned down the advances of popular singer, Asake, back in University.
The young lady, identified as @MarbellaSpice, posted a screenshot of the conversation she had with the ‘Sungba’ crooner and said she wishes she gave him her phone number.
In the chat, Asake, who was a struggling artiste at the time, requested for her phone number but she turned him down, saying she doesn’t like the way he was all over the place in school because of his music career.
She further stated that she is not looking to be friends with him and only enjoyed his music, to which the singer responded with mixed reaction.
Following the singer’s astronomical success in the music industry, Marbella went online to share the chat and said she should have exchanged contact with him.
According to her, they would have still been friends till date even if they didn’t pursue a romantic relationship.
