A former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, has said that the South West is tolerating the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari because they want to take over in 2023.
The lawmaker also noted that the North may not be comfortable with a number of anomalies in the present system but has to tolerate because their own is in power.
Shehu Sani tweeted, “The North’s tolerance to wrong is because one of their own is in Power. The South West tolerance to wrong is because they are expecting one of theirs to be next in Power.”
Meanwhile, a former Minister of Aviation and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Femi Fani-Kayode, has blamed Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, for the influx of cows in the country.
Fani-Kayode noted that since the pro-Biafra leader called Nigeria a zoo, cows had taken over and killings and destruction of properties were now beyond control. He begged Kanu to lift the curse.
He tweeted, “I blame @MaziNnamdiKanu for what has happened to us. He called Nigeria a zoo and ever since then we have been overwhelmed by cows.
“There are cows everywhere! Cows on our streets, our farms, our cities, our homes, our passports and in the bedrooms of our leaders! Lift this curse!”
