Following AY’s recent interview with the popular media personality Chude Jideonwo, where he attributed the cause of the 17 years of rift to a business transaction that went sour.
However, the interview led to a resurgence of Basketmouth’s old discussion on the beef which has continued to cause a stir on social media as netizens dig up an old video of Basketmouth in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
In a now-trending video, Basketmouth accused AY of sharing confidential information with a third party, which caused damage to their relationship.
Basketmouth said: “The thing is this, friendship for me is everything. I don’t mess around with friendship, I don’t mess around with loyalty. He (AY) came to my space and messed around with loyalty.
“Though I don’t want to go into details, he said something I personally shared with him with my lawyer Magnus. And Magnus called me.”
