Donald Trump, a former president of the United States (U.S.), has made history by becoming the first sitting president to be charged by a jury.
A grand jury in Manhattan decided to charge Trump on Thursday. This is the first time in US history that a past president has been charged with a crime.
Following the payment of $130,000 to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in the final weeks of the 2016 presidential campaign, an indictment was issued. The p0rn star claims that he had sex with Donald Trump in 2006.
Donald has vehemently refuted this allegation. He claimed that Stormy Daniels’ payment was made as compensation for litigation costs.
A DA’s office spokesperson verified the indictment while revealing that Trump will appear in court on Tuesday for his criminal arraignment and tax fraud.
The DA has verified the charge of falsifying business records, which carries a four-year prison sentence, even though the charges against Trump are not yet known.
Donald Trump slams Rihanna’s Super Bowl Performance
Former US President Donald Trump has slammed Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime performance as an “epic fail.”
Rihanna took to the stage on Sunday night, February 12, to perform some of her biggest hits including “Umbrella” and “We Found Love” during the heavily anticipated halftime show, her first live performance in several years. She also revealed that is currently pregnant with her second child.
Her performance drew several reactions from many social media users, including the ex-president, who described the performance as the worst halftime show in “history.”
