Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Monday reacted to court ruling, which granted the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat permission to travel abroad for treatment.
DAILY POST reported that a Kaduna High Court presided by Justice Darius Khobo had granted El-Zakzaky and his wife permission to travel to India for medical attention.
The judge also ordered officials of the State Government to accompany IMN leader during the medical trip.
El-Zakzaky’s counsel, Femi Falena, however, said the ruling was just to grant the IMN leader and his wife leave to seek medical attention abroad and not an outright bail.
But, reacting, Fani- Kayode while commending Buhari, urged him to release Sambo Dasuki and Omoyele Sowore.
He said, “I commend @MBuhari for honoring the court order and releasing Sheik El ZakZaky.
“I urge him to release Col. Sambo Dasuki, who has been in solitary confinement for the last 3 years despite numerous court orders to release him, @YeleSowore, @dadiyata and all other pol. prisoners.”
