The couple made this known by sharing pictures of the private ceremony via their social media accounts on Saturday.
Biles was dressed in a layered, strappy, white wedding gown, while her husband donned on a tan suit as they exchanged vows in a courthouse.
“I do 🤍. Officially Owens,” she wrote. “I never knew a love so deep @jowens.”
The American football player also took to his Instagram page, where he shared pictures from the event.
“My person, forever ❤💍. #TheOwens #ItsOfficial,” he captioned the post.
Biles told Wall Street Journal that the lovebirds met in March 2020 via a dating app, Raya. They began spending time together during the Covid-19 lockdown, which meant a less hectic schedule for them as athletes.
They went public with their relationship in August 2020, after the gymnast posted a picture of herself cozied up with Owens. A day after 2022’s Valentine’s day, the couple announced they were officially engaged.
