The cultural and performance hub, Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos, will on Saturday, November 8, 2025, host the White Garment Experience 2025, a major edition of Anathema in Concert 3.0 that will showcase the stage play “Baba Aladura: Moses Orimolade Odyssey.”
Produced by Cheser Media and endorsed by the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners, the play is directed by renowned theatre icon, Makinde Adeniran.
The event is designed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, celebrating the faith journey and cultural impact of its founder, Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase, popularly revered as Baba Aladura.
According to a statement by the organisers and made available to the media on Wednesday, Anathema in Concert 3.0 will serve as both a spiritual reflection and an artistic tribute to Orimolade’s missionary works, which inspired one of Africa’s most enduring indigenous Christian movements.
“The story and ministry of St Moses Orimolade Tunolase are not only a source of pride to the C & S Church but also a spiritual gift to Nigeria, the African continent and the world at large. The stage play and other projects by Cheser Media seeks to reinforce this fact,” the statement partly read.
Alongside the play, the Anathema Music Group and the Anathema Choir will add a spark to the programme with a series of musical performances to minister to and uplift the audience.
The red carpet opens at 3 p.m., followed by the main event at 4 p.m. Tickets for the occasion are available at ₦20,000 for exclusive access and ₦200,000 for VIP reservations.
Cheser Media is a visionary platform dedicated to showcasing the ideals, ethics, and traditions of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.
Some of Cheser’s projects started with a talk show some years ago, where Seraphs were hosted to talk about issues relating to the open disdain towards the church.
The talk-show titled: “Anathema Talk Show” sought to correct the deliberate misrepresentation of the church. It also featured Seraphs from across sub-denominations in the church.
The discourse later inspired a documentary titled: “Anathema – The White Garment Experience”, which premiered in Texas, the United States in 2022.
The production of the documentary would later lead to the formation of the Anathema Music Group. The group comprised C&S gospel artistes who were selected to produce the soundtrack of the documentary film such as Egbe Kerubu Tiye, Supplication and a few other tracks due for release.
