In other news, sensational Nigerian singer, Simi has lambasted a Twitter user who accused her husband, Adekunle Gold, of copying his colleague, Burna Boy’s fashion style and mannerism.
The tweep stated this while reacting to a photo of the ‘High’ singer celebrating with Nigerian fighter, Israel Adesanya, following his recent victory in the ring.
He knocked Adekunle Gold for not being his true self and accused him of constantly imitating Burna Boy’s “posture, smile, and glasses.”
“The Burna Boy plagiarism is really so obvious and very annoying at this point. man can’t you just be yourself? same posture, same glasses, same smile. wtf ?! it’s been going on for awhile now and we need to speak on it.” he tweeted.
Following his statement, netizens dug up more photos of Adekunle Gold dressed similarly to the self-proclaimed African giant.
This didn’t sit well with Simi, who stated that only sad people have time to analyze other people’s lives on social media.
