The monarch said this while speaking during the presentation of training tools to 69 students of the Peter Akinola Foundation, Youth Centre for Industrial Training, by their sponsors.
The sponsors, which include Tunde Lemo Foundation, Josephus Foundation, and Owo Diocese among others presented tools worth over N4 million.
PAF, a non-profit-making organisation, with a mission to help the youths to be economically empowered, was founded in 2011 by the former Primate of the All Nigeria Church of Anglican Communion, Peter Akinola.
Oba Gbadebo, during the presentation, charged students of various higher institutions in the country to always strive for the best.
According to the traditional ruler, aiming for the best will help them achieve their goals early in life.
He charged the lucky students to make use of the training tools for their betterment as well as for their community and the country at large
Alake expressed delight at the alumni of PAF, and promised to continue to identify with the institution.
Director of the institution, Tunde Awolana, described PAF as a unique vocational centre that has trained thousands of students with technical skills since inception.
A member of the Tunde Lemo Foundation, Reuben Sogaolu, who spoke on behalf of sponsors, expressed gratitude to God for making the presentation possible.
He disclosed that the sponsors are always proud of PAF’s students, promising that they would continue to do more for the vocational centre.
