The wife of the Olu of Warri, Olori Atuwatse III, has admonished Nigerian children to always pray for those in positions of authority and also render help to those in need, stressing that such pleases God.
The Warri Queen gave the admonition at the royal palace on Thursday evening during a session with children between the ages of two and 10 to wrap up her birthday activities.
Tagged ‘Storytime with Mama Iwere,’ the session featured the Kids Book and Drama Club.
Palace sources disclosed that the plan for the initiative was to encourage and promote early literacy in children and foster creativity through drama and dance. It also seeks to teach children godly traits and help them truly connect with God’s love for them.
During the session, Olori read the “Story of the young boy that tried to find God.”
She said the take-home lesson from the story was that people should do well with one another.
The Olori also urged the children to always ready to render help to whoever they meet in every day of their lives, pray for those in authority, and preach God to people, noting that such pleases God.
