The Convener of the Gospel Crusade with Kumuyi and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has urged gospel ministers to demonstrate the transformed lives they have received from Jesus Christ and shine as lights in their lifestyles.
“We should allow the congregation we are ministering to see Jesus in us,” a statement quoted Kumuyi to have said at the ongoing GCK programme in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The programme, with theme: ‘Fulfilling the Ministry with Heaven in View,’ was organised for gospel ministers and secular professionals.
Kumuyi said, “There is the possession of righteousness on one hand, true believers are also commissioned to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus with power.”
Kumuyi said Christians must understand that they are duty-bound to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
“We should not listen to present-day preachers and theologians that say miracles cannot happen again,” added.
The Rivers State Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Rev. Minaibi Dagogo-Jack, described Kumuyi’s teaching as enriching.
“We learnt a lot about revival; we learnt a lot about restoration. Today’s meeting was awesome,” Dagogo-Jack said.
