Nottingham Forest will allow Emmanuel Dennis to leave the club this summer amid interest from Leeds United, sources have told Football Insider.
Dennis had a tough campaign last season and Forest are prepared to let him leave which Leeds are aware of.
The Premier League side also has a bloated squad and are willing to sell Dennis in order to strengthen their own attack.
The Whites are set to lose a lot of players following their relegation from the Premier League, which is another reason why they are weighing up a move for the Nigeria international.
Forest paid a reported £20million to sign Dennis from Watford last summer following his impressive 2021-22 campaign in the Premier League for the Hornets.
He notched 10 goals and six assists in 33 top-flight appearances for the Hertfordshire club but could not prevent their relegation to the Championship.
Dennis has struggled to recapture that form in a Nottingham Forest shirt.
The striker equipped with blistering pace, whose contract at the City Ground runs until June 2026, has managed just two goals and three assists in 25 appearances since his 2022 move.
Just nine of those outings came as part of the starting lineup, with the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi, Brennan Johnson and Andre Ayew all preferred to Dennis.
