A popular gospel singer, Ada Ehi, has described her latest song titled, ‘Another Miracle’, as a statement of faith.
In a statement sent to Saturday Beats, she said, “The song is a statement and affirmation of faith, and a response to life’s questions. The song was inspired by the thoughts and meditations of my heart. Those are the things I constantly think about. It is basically a statement of my faith to life’s questions and difficult situations.”
Speaking on why she featured, Dena Mwana, a gospel singer from Congo, on the song, Ehi said, “Dena and I had always known that we were going to work on a song that would fuse both our cultures, and the opportunity finally presented itself.
“It was a wonderful experience working with her. Her distinctive style in her local dialect added more colour to the song, and I am grateful for that.”
Speaking on the experience of making the song, Ehi said, “It was not a quick studio writing session. Dena had come for an event (in Nigeria), and she stayed back because we knew we wanted to work on a song together. It was like a ‘praise break’ session, although we did not have the lyrics yet. After she left, I started working on the lyrics based on the everyday meditations of my heart and spirit. With bad news everywhere, the lyrics ‘I will sing another miracle, I will see uncountable testimonies and my song will remain glory hallelujah’ was my response. I am confident that people will experience the lifting power of God when they listen to the song.
“It will be a response to whatever situation they are going through. This is another Victory song for people out there.”
