The group particularly welcomed the lift on the forex ban on 43 items.
In a press release signed by its National Coordinator, Amechi Oyema; the chairman, Advisory Board, Prof. Ojo Ademola; and chairman, Board of Trustees, Dr. Jerry Ugokwe; on Saturday said this is not the time for any distraction as Tinubu has shown capacity within the short time in office.
It further urged opposition parties still in court over the outcome of the February presidential elections to join the present administration to bring the country out of its present economic woes.
It commended Tinubu for headhunting and putting the right people in the right offices in ministries and agencies.
“The appointments made by the administration have seen square pegs in square holes.
“With pride, we see the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, bringing his professional qualifications as an engineer to bear in the task assigned to him. We see how the minister uses technical terms to face road contractors who held the country to ransom before this time.
“The Minister of Interior, Tunji Ojo, has shown that passports can be easily procured in Nigeria.
“Minister of Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betty Edu has been on the roads putting smiles on the face of the downtrodden.”
According to the group, eminent Nigerians such as the former chairman, Stanbic IBTC, Atedo Peterside, and public affairs analyst, Sam Amadi, have welcomed the Central Bank of Nigeria’s decision to lift the Forex.
“We can boldly say that the Renewed Hope Agenda is rightly on course,” it added.
It implored Nigerians to remain focused and exercise patience for the realisation of Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria.
“We urge Nigerians to exercise patience as there is hope in what the administration is doing,” it said.
