The governor, according to a statement signed by his chief press secretary, Abubakar Bawa, and made available to newsmen on Tuesday, Fulani was also promoted to the position of Head of Service.
Recall that Fulani, following his compulsory retirement by the Tambuwal administration approached the National Industrial Court, Sokoto where he got judgement to be reinstated but was never implemented by the previous administration.
The court in its ruling nullified Sarkin Fulani’s compulsory retirement from the state civil service and subsequently directed that he should be re-instated.
The court also directed payment of his full entitlements.
Justice Kiyashot Demlak in his ruling then said the claimant had successfully proved his case of wrongful retirement based on legal arguments and presentation of required documents.
Justice Demlak said the defendant, Sokoto State Government, through its Counsel, Suleiman Usman (SAN), failed to prove the legality of its actions, bordering on the claimant’s alleged misconduct.
He ordered the reinstatement of Sarkin-Fulani as well as payment of his stipulated entitlements, along with N100,000 as compensation.
