If successful, Odumewu will become the third Guinness World Record holder from Nigeria this year following the amazing feats set by 17- year-old pupil, Philip Solomon and celebrity chef, Hilda Baci
In May 2023, Solomon, a student of Oyemekun Grammar School Akure, Ondo State, was declared the Guinness World Record holder for the most skips on one foot in 30 seconds. The boy achieved this feat back in January 2023, after recording 153 skips on one foot in 30 seconds to outdo former record holder Rasel Islam, of Bangladesh whose record was 145.
Baci was declared the world record holder for the longest cooking marathon by Guinness in June 2023 with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes.
The chef cooked from May 11 to 15, creating over 100 pots of food during the challenge.
