The empowerment, according to its Programme Associate, in a release on Thursday, Ghazali Abdulmuizz, was the seventh phase of its SheEnabled project, adding that the project remains committed to its mission of empowering women by creating platforms that foster economic independence, health awareness, and personal development.
Abdulmuizz, while thanking all collaborators on the project and on behalf of the founder, Toluwase Olaniyan, said, “We are thrilled by the overwhelming response and engagement from the community. SheEnabled is not just an event; it’s a movement empowering women to thrive in various aspects of their lives.
“This project is reflective of our unwavering commitment to fostering economic empowerment and creating shared prosperity in communities around the world through enterprise development, technology education, skill enhancement, and strategic collaborations, with a primary emphasis on empowering women and youth.”
Representing the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, Olaoluwa Odugbesan expressed commitment and the Trust Fund’s dedication to creating opportunities for businesswomen.
“LSETF is dedicated to providing opportunities for women to thrive in their chosen fields. SheEnabled aligns with our commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and skill development among women,” the LSETF Micro Enterprise Startup Officer said.
