Popular actor and filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, has seemingly reacted to the criticisms he received for dancing suggestively with his daughter, Eyiyemi.
Recall that the dance video went viral on Monday, February 26, sparking a wave of disapproving comments from netizens on social media.
In the controversial video, the 49-year-old actor held his daughter’s waist tightly and pulled her to his groin region, while she in turn rocked him. Watch here
In what appears to be a response, Kunle took to his Instagram page on Tuesday afternoon to share a video montage of himself that includes a photo with his daughter.
Accompanying the visuals, he added the hit song “Do I” by Phyno and Burna Boy in the background.
The lyrics of the song, particularly the line “Do I look like I give a fuck?” suggest that the filmmaker is unfazed by the criticism he faced for the video.
He captioned the post,
“I am a King! I am a child of the most high!
You can only try👍🏾
Love surpasses everything 🫶🏾
Do I look like”
