President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday engaged the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, in a closed-door meeting.
The meeting, which held at the President’s office within the State House, Aso Villa, started around 11.30 am.
DAILY POST reports that the meeting will be one of the last official activities of the President before he jets to Saudi Arabia and later the United Kingdom.
Speaking with State House correspondents after the closed-door meeting, the CBN Governor insisted that neighbouring countries must engage with Nigeria before the Nigerian border is reopened.
