A lady has shared how she saved another lady wearing a denim skirt from being harassed at Ilorin Central Mosque.
She said she had to intervene to save the non-Muslim lady from being harassed because of her appearance.
Recounting the incident, the lady stated that she was passing through Ilorin Central Mosque, Kwara state, when people around the worship centre started insulting the lady in front of her because of her mode of dressing.
The lady was casually dressed; she wore a short denim skirt paired with round neck and a face cap.
According to her, the lady was on the verge of tears when another woman confronted and blocked her path, preventing her from leaving. She had to step in and escort the lady out of the area to prevent any physical altercation.
She stated that Muslims living in Ilorin should handle situations better when correcting people without resorting to harassment.
She also mentioned that the lady is not a resident of Ilorin and her attire did not expose any sensitive parts of her body.
