Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck has linked up with American rapper, Rick Ross for a possible collaboration.
This comes after the music mogul had in a video mentioned names of Nigerian singers he would love to collaborate with.
The US rapper also said he wants to bring more attention to Africa by doing a collaborative project with the continent’s artistes.
It seems like the American rapper meant business as he has been seen in a recent video having a video chat with Odumodublvck.
See the conversation below:
“So tell me one thing. When do we do this album I want this album out. I want to let my real n**a shine. What do you think are the possibilities,” he said.
Odumodublvck replied: “I am a Christian and the Bible said what the Lord is set to do, eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, mouths cannot speak of the possibilities”.
Ross also asked Odumodublvck to name the top Nigerian artistes who inspire him.
“Give me three Nigerian artistes that inspire you being a young singer coming up. So when I sit back and listen to your music tonight I want to go back to your root and show three Nigerian artistes that really influence you coming up,” Ross asked.
In his response, the ‘Declan Rice’ hitmaker listed Burna Boy, 2Baba, Davido, and the late Afrobeat icon Fela Kuti, who he called “our pastor on the street”.
“He is not old but I listen to Burna Boy coming up. Davido? That is the real ni**a. That is my brother. Everybody listens to Fela. Fela is like our pastor. Pastor to the streets. Finally, I go for 2face Idibia. Check for 2face Idibia. The first guy to have broken out. He sang the African Queen,” Odumodublvck replied.
