A singer, Olotu Adebayo, aka BYTunes, has said that he makes copacetic music in order to distinguish himself from other artistes in the highly saturated music industry.
Speaking in an interview with Sunday Scoop, he said, “I believe that I am the God-sent pioneer of this outstanding genre of music. Copacetic music entails patterning during production. The second element that makes it unique is the style of delivery, which entails fusing nothing less than three kinds of already existing genres to create just one track. Also, copacetic music should not have more than one extended verse, even if it features another artiste, or is done by a group.”
On his vision for that genre of music, BYTunes said, “The vision is crystal clear. I had a vision of how copacetic music got its own space in the world of great music. He showed me how every distribution company in the world updated their platforms with the genre. With copacetic music, Africa will be blessed beyond afrobeats.”
Speaking on his new single titled, Music, the singer said, “Whoever listens to the song will understand why I gave it that title.”
Asked which artiste he would love to collaborate with, the singer said, “My dream is to make music with major musicians and pioneers across the globe, so as to assist with the evolvement and growth of copacetic music as a genre.”
