President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday congratulated the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona Ogbagba II, on the 64th anniversary of his coronation.
“President Tinubu extols the revered monarch as a fine personification of integrity, wisdom, and authenticity,” the Presidency said in a statement signed by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
The statement is titled, ‘President Tinubu celebrates his royal majesty, Awujale of Ijebuland, on 64th coronation anniversary.’
“He joins the great people of Ijebuland, Ogun State, and Nigerians in totality to celebrate the Royal Father and one of the longest reigning monarchs in Nigeria,” the statement read.
The President thanked the Royal Father, whom he called a “close confidant,” for his prayers, support, and wise counsel.
Describing him as a “prolific repository of Ijebuland’s and Nigeria’s cherished history,” Tinubu prayed to God Almighty to grant the monarch the grace of good health and strength and many more prosperous years on the throne of his forefathers.
