Nigerian travel blogger, Pelumi Nubi, has arrived safely in Lagos after months-long solo driving from London.
Pelumi, who had received plenty of congratulations from well-wishers at the Lagos State border, arrived at her alma mater, Unilag.
The travel vlogger was welcomed into the State by her father, Professor Nubi, Special adviser to the Lagos state Governor on Tourism, Arts and culture, Honorable Idris Aregbe amongst others.
Pelumi who disclosed her plans to start solo driving in January victoriously arrived at her destination and has thanked everyone who followed her throughout this journey via her social media pages.
She wrote;
“It’s a wrap, everyone!
We made it! London to Lagos is officially completed.
I had a fantastic night’s sleep, no exaggeration
Huge thanks to everyone who came out yesterday. I genuinely appreciate your support and don’t take any of it for granted.
Thank you, Lagos. Thank you, Nigeria!”
