The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky appeared to have taken swipes at Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s new album, ‘We Still Don’t Trust You.’
The Weeknd, who was featured on a track titled, ‘All To Myself,’ reiterated his loyalty to Future and Metro Boomin’s side of the hip-hop industry beef and boasted about turning down Drake’s offer to sign him to Ovo Sounds in 2011.
“They could never diss my brothers, baby, when they got leaks in they operation, I thank God that I never signed my life away.
“Their shooters making TikToks,” he rapped.
Similarly, Rihanna’s partner, A$AP Rocky, who was featured on a track titled, ‘Show of Hands’ also appeared to have dissed Drake.
A$AP Rocky, who is fondly called Flacko, bragged that he “hit it first” before Drake who dated Rihanna back in 2009-2010.
“Flacko hit it first, son / Still don’t trust you / Always us, never them.”
“Heard you dropped your latest sh*t / Funny how it just came and went,” A$AP rapped.
Although A$AP Rocky confirmed his relationship with Rihanna in 2021, there were rumours the couple had always been friends even when Rihanna was in her previous relationships.
