Israeli authorities reported on Tuesday that two unmanned aerial vehicles from Lebanon, loaded with explosives, detonated in northern Israel, resulting in injuries to three individuals.
This happened amid heightened tensions between Israel and Iran and its allies.
The Israeli military said in a statement that the armed drones crossed from Lebanon into Israel territory and exploded in the area of Beit Hillel in the Galilee.
Israel’s state-owned Kan reported that three people sustained light injuries.
The drones did not trigger air raid sirens, and the military said the incident was under review.
