In a proactive effort to ensure public safety, the Lagos State Police Command has commenced comprehensive first aid training, including CPR, for traffic and patrol officers who are usually first responders at accident scenes.
This training which took off today May 20, 2024 at the Area F Command Ikeja is aimed at equipping officers with the necessary skills to provide basic medical care and respond to various emergencies, including accidents, injuries, and other critical situations.
According to a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, and made available to GATMASH NEWS, this project which will be extended to other area commands in the coming weeks demonstrates the commitment of the Lagos State Police Command towards enhancing the capacity of its officers to effectively serve and protect Lagosians.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Adegoke Fayoade, mni, while appreciating Magna Carta Health and the Governor’s Office for the free training, assures that the command would continue to improve the capacity of its officers and men in every area necessary.
