The PPRO disclosed this in a statement on X.com on Sunday.
She wrote, “It is wrong to struggle with an armed police officer on the road. Please cooperate with him.
“If he conducts himself unprofessionally, gather evidence and report to the CRU. We will investigate and take appropriate action if he is found guilty. One with gun is majority.”
She further explained that individuals should take note of the location and officer’s name, among others, as they will be helpful to file a report of misconduct.
“It is wrong for an officer to stop you and collect your phone.
“Firstly, please cooperate. Make sure you are not guilty of any offence. Check if there are any witnesses at the scene. Check the location and timing of the incident. Memorise the officer’s name and vehicle,” she added.
