Her epic adventure, spanning over 90,000 kilometres, began in Mombasa, Kenya on March 8th 2024 and will culminate in Lagos, Nigeria.
Ebaide disclosed that her inspiration for the journey stems from a life-altering experience at the age of 23 when a car accident left her wheelchair-bound for several months.
Following surgery to repair her spinal cord, she revealed that she was determined to make the most of her second chance at life.
Since starting her solo drive on March 8th, 2024, Ebaide has traversed Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Zambia, and is currently in Angola.
In a recent Instagram update, she shared her experiences in Angola, describing it as a country with a unique personality.
While facing challenges riding on sand, she humorously acknowledged her need for training and invited offers from Nigeria.
“She wrote, “Angola is an experience different from any I’ve experienced.
“It is a country with such a huge personality😁. Too many things to experience, too many memories to keep.
“It was bittersweet. Mostly bitter in the first few days, but hella sweet much later.
“In truth, the sand here was nothing compared to the one we rode through while crossing the border. I am simply pathetic at riding on sand. I desperately need some training.
“Who’d like to teach me sand riding in Nigeria next week?”
