The Delta State Police Command has arrested a kidnap kingpin, Desmond Itodje who was allegedly involved in the kidnapping of the President of the Resident Doctors at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Delsuth, Doctor Jerry Isogun.
The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Hafiz Inuwa disclosed this in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent in Warri.
CP Inuwa said the Police also recovered the credentials of the doctor who has since been released from the hideout of the notorious kidnapper who was arrested at Okpara Waterside, his own village in Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to CP Inuwa, the suspect was arrested yesterday at his village, however, investigations are still ongoing.
CP Inuwa used the medium to thank the vigilante who worked with the Police until the notorious kidnapper was arrested.
He urged them to keep up the good work with the Police with a view to secure the society better.
