Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has expressed sadness over the death of Justice Abubakar Bashir Wali, a retired Supreme Court Justice.
Ganduje condoled with families, people of Kano State and the Nigerian judiciary over the death of Wali.
Governor Ganduje expressed his heartfelt condolence message in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Abba Anwar
He described Wali’s death as not only an irreparable and great loss to his family and the state,
The statement read in part: “His death creates great vacuum in the judiciary in the country.
“We can still remember his immense contributions in the judiciary at the state and federal levels.
“His days as a legal luminary were full of mentoring, coaching and shaping judicial officers at all levels.
“The agony of his death will remain with us for many years to come.”
