President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State following his recognition by Pope Francis as Knight Commander in the Order of St. Gregory.
A statement sent to DAILY POST by Femi Adesina, his Spokesman, said Buhari “heartily felicitates with Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State on his recent honour as Knight Commander in the Order of St. Gregory the Great by Pope Francis
“The President trusts that the award which is given to those who, by their service, have shown extraordinary love for Jesus Christ and His Church, will inspire Governor Obiano to remain steadfast and absolutely dedicated to the well-being of the people.”
It added that “As a public office holder who is also passionate about his faith, President Buhari extends his best wishes to Governor Obiano as he assumes another responsibility of service to God and humanity.”
