The Kwara State House of Assembly, has postponed its scheduled resumption for Tuesday, March 24 till further notice.
The Clerk of the House, Hajia Halimat Jummai Kperogi, announced in a statement issued in Ilorin on Monday.
She said the postponement was in line with government’s strategies to avert COVID-19 pandemic, especially the closure of public institutions.
The Clerk said a new date for the resumption of plenary will be announced at a later date.
The House urged the people of the state to abide by recommendations on how to stay safe from the COVID-19 pandemic.
