The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) Team on COVID-19 Restriction Enforcement on Saturday, shutdown the programme of a popular Pentecostal church.
The place of worship is the Christ Embassy branch located at Jabi District of the nation’s capital.
The team began operations at Wuse Market and moved to the church following complaints that it was holding wedding ceremony and other activities.
The Chairman, FCT Traffic Management Task Team, Ikharo Attah, addressed the gathering and subsequently dispersed the worshippers.
Similarly, the enforcement team visited Police Quarters at Wuse Zone 6, and stopped a wedding reception.
The bride and groom were about to arrive when the team got to the venue located in a neighbourhood.
The team, after visiting Wuse, Dutse Alhaji, Utako Markets, ordered their immediate closure.
