The World Health Organisation (WHO) Regional Office for Africa in Brazzaville, Congo, has disclosed that South Africa has more confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) than any other country in the continent.
According to the WHO, South Africa is the most affected by the coronavirus virus in Africa, with 1,280 cases, one death, and 31 recoveries as of Monday, March 30.
The health agency also said this in a tweet on its regional official twitter account @WHOAFRO on Monday morning.
“#COVID19 #Africa update,” WHO tweeted.
“#SouthAfrica remains the country most affected by the virus on the continent with 1,280 cases, one death & 31 recoveries.”
