Bauchi State has quarantined seven doctors, following their contact with a female Coronavirus patient.
Speaking at the government house last night while giving an update on the pandemic, the Executive Chairman of the state Primary Health Care Development Agency (BASPHCDA), Dr Rilwanu Mohammed, made the announcement.
DAILY POST reports that the female patient was admitted at a private health facility before she was transferred to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) in Bauchi, after exhibiting symptoms of the pandemic.
DAILY POST also reports that the seven doctors had contact with the patient before her sample came out positive.
The executive chairman also added that the samples of the doctors and every other contact of the patient had been taken and were expected last night.
