Kano State government on Thursday recorded twenty-three new cases of coronavirus.
This was confirmed in a post on the State’s official Twitter page on Thursday night.
This brings the total number of cases in the State to 1,048.
The tweet read: “#COVID19 Kano Update as at 11:50pm 11th June 2020
“@KanostateNg has today confirmed 23 new cases from 124 results received from the Laboratories with 34 discharges.”
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Thursday confirmed 681 COVID-19 cases in the country.
The agency on its official Twitter page said Lagos recorded 201 cases, while Rivers followed with 51.
Nigeria’s total now stands at 14,545.
