Fear and tension have enveloped the in Imo State House of Assembly following the news that more members of the Assembly have tested positive for coronavirus.
DAILY POST reports that the Governor Hope Uzodinma has instructed members to go for compulsory test at Evaright Diagnostic Centre Owerri to ascertain their COVID-19 status to avoid its likely spread.
Meanwhile, the news may scuttle plenary on Wednesday as members who eventually test positive will go for isolation.
DAILY POST made several efforts to reach the Assembly Committee chairman on Information and Judiciary, Dominic Ezerioha and member representing Oru-west state constituency to no avail as his lines were unavailable.
