The Kaduna State government has confirmed thirty-nine (39) new COVID-19 cases in the State.
It explained that the 39 cases were part of the 344 samples tested for the virus.
In a tweet on Wednesday night, the state government disclosed that the cases were from Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Sabon-Gari and Zaria.
It said: “COVID-19 update: 20 patients are due for discharge. 39 samples returned positive out of 344 analyzed. The new cases are from Kaduna North (14), Kaduna South (3) Sabon-Gari (15) and Zaria (7).
Meanwhile, Nigeria recorded a total of 26,484 confirmed COVID-19 cases as at Wednesday night.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, confirmed 790 new cases across the country.
