The Kwara State government on Sunday said it recorded fifteen new cases of the deadly Coronavirus infectious disease.
This brings to 133 the number of active cases in the state according to the state COVID-19 technical team’s update on the pandemic.
While the death toll remains five, four more patients were discharged after testing negative twice.
The total number of discharged patients so far now stands at 146.
Also, the total number of confirmed cases is put at 284.
According to the spokesman of the technical team, Rafiu Ajakaye, 2114 tests have been done and 1699 came out negative.
The government had eased the lockdown restrictions to open the state economy.
