Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi has gained promotion to the English premier league with West Bromwich Albion.
West Brom gained promotion after playing 2-2 against Queens Park Rangers as Ajayi played all minutes of the match.
West Brom only needed a point should third place Brentford fail to record victory against Barnsley in a match that were all played simultaneously.
The work was made easier as Brentford lost 2-1 to Barnsley, ensuring West Brom’s automatic qualification.
Ajayi was not the only Nigerian in the match as Eberechi Eze who is yet to make a debut for the Super Eagles equalised for his side QPR.
The 26-year old Ajayi who previously played for Arsenal has made 11 appearances for Nigeria but is yet to score for his country.
