Nigeria now has over 11,000 active cases of COVID-19.
On Saturday night, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), announced 160 new cases and two deaths.
The 160 new cases are reported from 13 states: FCT (39), Plateau (39), Lagos (30), Kaduna (23), Katsina (7), Rivers (6), Oyo (6), Yobe (3), Benue (3), Bayelsa (1), Abia (1), Edo (1) and Ekiti (1).
Till date, 56,177 cases have been confirmed.
Out of that number, 44,088 cases have been discharged, meaning there are 11,011 active cases.
About 1,078 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.
